So I realize there are a few things wrong with this post…
1. A post about the New Year probably should have been done oh, 14 days ago
2. Resolutions shouldn’t have quotations.. well I don’t really believe in making New Year’s Resolutions (for a variety of reasons, but this kinda falls into that category so I had to give it the label)
3. It isn’t the typical full day of eats post that most WIAW blogs are about. #rebel
Now that we have that out in the open, let’s get into it!
Every heard of the 52 new foods challenge?
Well you can read all about it here – but long story short, you try a new food (or an old food prepared differently) each week for the whole year! My partner in this food adventure and I are so pumped!
Our first new food was the pomelo!

But this is what it looks like before you rip it apart!
It was like a cross between an orange and grapefruit – SOOOO delicious! I highly recommend it! It’s huge, it took me three different settings to get through it all.
And here’s the nutrition – look at all that vitamin C! :O
This week we tried starfruit.
SOOOO cute! …yes fruit can be cute 🙂
It wasn’t the sweetest tasting fruit I’ve ever had; but it was still good! Definitely worth a try.
