Rain rain go away.
It’s really rainy and cold here today! 🙁 Not very much fun since our newbie interns don’t know anybody in town yet that can invite us out of the house… but lots of housework and homework got done – so that’s a positive!
I even had time for a nap 🙂
The weather here in Nome is very lengthy… by that I mean that when one ‘type‘ of weather comes around, you can almost bet that it will be here for at least 3 or 4 days – awesome when it’s sunny and warm, not so awesome when it’s cold and rainy!
For those of you weather bugs out there (dad!) here is Kris with the National weather service of Nome, Alaska reporting; it is 36* here in the Nome Census Area in the Unorganized Borough of the US, located on the Souther Seward Peninsula coast on Norton Sound of the Bering Sea (a post about the history and geography of Nome coming soon!) anyways – back to the weather! It is 36*, feels like 29*. Light rain has been felt all day with a SW wind at 15mph. Humidity is at 96% and the chance of rain for the rest of the day is 50%.
Well that’s all for this weather reporter! Goodnight all!
