Love notes from God.

Love notes from God.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes it can be hard for me to remember just how big God’s love for us is. I try to put it in a box, conditionalize it, and more impossible yet-put it in human terms. The problem is: God’s not human. His love is not like our love. It’s bigger. Better. Stronger. Unfathomable.

This makes it difficult for my ever wandering mind to comprehend. But the thing is, I need to stop trying to comprehend. Because it is impossible. That is the beauty of faith and our time here on earth. We are God’s children, not meant to know how or why He loves us, but to rest assured that He does.

And sometimes, just sometimes, we need a love note from God to remind us of that…

Dear child of mine (enter your name here),

I love you.

I love you more than words can say, so I put words into a being – a Man, like you in all ways but sin. I sent Him as a ransom for you.

I love you so much that this Being of My pure love for you gave up everything – His life, His pain, His power; all for you.

I love you.

Not because of anything you have or haven’t done. Not because of your grades, your looks, your talents, or even your love for Me.

I love you.

You are made in MY image; that is how much I love you.

I shine the sun for you, grow the flowers for you, drop the rain for you.

I love you just the way you are; that is why I made you that way.

You, my child, are loved by the Creator of Love Himself. You always have been and always will be.

I love you and you are Mine.
