Bless this bread… -Food For Life Review-

So who here loves bread?

Well if you do, and you’re looking to learn more about a great company I’ve fallen in love with you’ve come to the right place! Get ready to learn about Food For Life Bread Co.!

Food for Life is a bakery selling nutritious, wholesome products and has been for over 50 years. As taken from their site: “Being aware and respecting what your body needs and requires is not a stigma, it’s a way of living a healthier more active life – and we are here to support you on your journey.”
I just love that!

They sell everything from pasta to bread, english muffins to cereal. I received a coupon to try one item – I chose Genesis 1:29 Bread.
“Then God said, ‘Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.” ~ Genesis 1:29
This verse is the perfect name for this bread! The bread has 16 exotic grains and seeds in every slice! …from Teff to Pumpkin Seeds!
I do love a hearty bread full of delicious add-ins! 🙂 Plain bread is just too boring for this gal…

So what do you do with a great loaf of bread?!
You make a sandwich!

I toasted the bread, and layered lettuce, tomato and deli turkey. But not just any turkey…oh no! Have you guys ever had Mesquite Turkey Breast from Sara Lee (well actually from the grocery store but you know what I’m getting at…)
It’s amazing! The sandwich had the perfect amount of kick and flavor! And the bread toasted up amazingly, and help up to my filling.

ps – I also used the bread today for a roast beef sandwich – didn’t toast it, just a cold sandwich and it was still amazing!

I’m just in love with this bread, and the company for that matter! They also have a gluten-free line if you are gluten-intolerant/sensitive.

According to their website, there is a line of waffles coming out soon! and in the morning – I’m making WAFFLES! (Shrek anyone? anyone? oh well…)

Your turn: Favorite bread company? I know there have to be some good ones out there I haven’t tried!

*All opinions are my own, I only received a coupon from the company*
